Thanksgiving Day
The first Thanksgiving Day in the United States was celebrated in 1621. Many believe; due to a thankfully, large fall harvest, a celebratory feast was organized by the Pilgrims and eaten together with the Indians in a celebration of Thanks and appreciation. In a continued yearly, Day of Thanks; Thanksgiving Day is now celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday in November.
